Addison-Penzak JCC

The Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center of Silicon Valley is a nonprofit community center that welcomes people of all faiths.  We work to enhance Jewish life in Silicon Valley, and to provide social, cultural, educational and recreational services for the entire community. The JCC is committed to making it possible for individuals with special needs to participate in JCC activities. While inclusion is not yet possible for every individual with special needs, we are working toward it.

Fun and Fitness with Friends is a social and recreation program for children and teens with special needs. The program provides a supportive, structured, and nurturing environment to develop new skills and make friends.

  • Youth Fun and Fitness with Friends is for children ages 6 to 12. The Youth Program, located solely on-site at the JCC, offers physical, social and creative events.
  • Teen Fun and Fitness with Friends is for ages 13 to 18. In addition to offering creative, social and physical offerings, teens engage in the community by participating in field trips to various nearby locations. Some of our past field trips have been to Cambrian Bowl, The Tech Museum, Golfland, Vasona Park and others.

To register your child for the program, contact Josh Glincher at or 408-357-7447.

Children with physical or developmental disabilities requiring assistance may be able to exercise with one of the JCC's Certified Personal Trainers. There is a fee for this service. For details, contact personal trainer Linda Thompson at

My son attended their Fun and Fitness with friends. . Staff are helpful and accomodating and the facility is super clean and nice. The program is open to all, so my son didn't quite find it a great social opportunity, but that would change for each session, I would think.
